We’ve replaced the frantic pace of the traditional clinic with a setting inspired by the quiet grace of our city.

After 15 years in practice, Dr. Johanna Ecke founded Bayou Paws to solve a common problem: the “volume-based” model that often erodes the quality of care. She built this space to prove that clinical excellence and deep compassion carry equal weight.
We focus on your pet’s emotional well-being as much as their physical health. From gentle handling to soothing pheromones, we ensure the experience is stress-free for everyone.
To honor the unique needs of our patients, we offer separate waiting rooms, exam rooms, and treatment areas, and hospitalization spaces for cats and dogs.
Bathed in soft, natural light, our hospital features multiple quiet resting spaces for dogs—a far more peaceful alternative to traditional, high-stress kennel wards.
